We’re sorry to see you go! To disable or delete your GoldMogul account, simply send an email to our support team (operations@goldmogul.com) from the email address associated with your GoldMogul account. However, before sending your request, please ensure there is no cash, gold, or silver balance left in your account and no MogulPlan setup for future execution. Depending on the condition of your account upon your request, we will either disable or delete your account.
Disabling your account: the account is in a dormant state and not accessible to login to and perform any transactions; however, the account and relevant data still exist in our backend system. You will not receive any notifications or customer communications, and the account can be re-enabled if desired.
Deleting an account: the account is not accessible to login to and perform any transactions, and the account is deleted from our backend system. The account cannot be re-enabled.
If your GoldMogul account meets any of the conditions below, we cannot delete it. Instead, we can disable your account from further access and keep relevant data on file.
If your GoldMogul account does not meet any of the above conditions, your account and associated data can be deleted upon request.
Once your account is disabled, we will remove all front-end access to GoldMogul, so your account and personal data will no longer be accessible. We will nevertheless be able to deliver tax documents and transaction data if you specifically request them.
Please note: GoldMogul is a financial institution in good standing that requires adherence to strict standards for tax reporting and data retention. IRS guidelines dictate that we must retain tax information, such as transaction data and 1099 documents, for at least seven years.
